Dschano Ananidze ( Georgian ჯანო ანანიძე , English transcription: Jano Ananidze ; Russian Жано Ананидзе ; born October 10, 1992 in Kobuleti ) is a Georgian football player who is currently under contract with Spartak Moscow .

Career

Ananidse started out in youth football at Dinamo Tbilisi . In 2005 he was transferred to Dynamo Kiev , where his talent has not yet been recognized. Spartak Moscow bought it three years later. In the following year, at the age of 16, the new coach Valeri Karpin gave him the chance to show himself in the first team. He scored his first goal in his professional debut in June 2009 in the cup match against FK Krasnodar. Ananidze made his debut in the Russian league on August 1st, 2009. He is also the RFPL's youngest ever goal scorer, at the age of 17 years and 8 days he scored in the city derby against Lokomotiv Moscow . Ananidze made his European debut on 19 October 2010 when he came on as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat in the UEFA Champions League group match against Chelsea . He scored his first European goal on February 17, 2011 when he scored the 3-2 winner in a 3-2 win in the first leg of the sixteenth-final of the UEFA Europa League against FC Basel .

International

Ananidze went through several Georgian youth teams. In July 2009 he was finally invited to the Georgian national soccer team, for which he has played seven games so far. Ananidse regularly plays in his country's U21 team; he scored his first goal for the U21 team on March 3, 2010 against Estonia and his first for the national team on November 17, 2010 against Slovenia.
