Duane Dennis (born February 6, 1969 in Vernon , British Columbia ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player who played on the left wing position. In the German Ice Hockey League he played for the Kaufbeurer Adler .

Career

In 1988 Dennis began playing ice hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League , where he went on ice for two seasons for the Vernon Vipers. Then he put on ice skates for four years for the Acadia Axemen from the CIAU . In his final season for Acadia University, he completed two more games for the Prince Edward Island Senators from the American Hockey League . He spent the following season alternately with the Wheeling Thunderbirds in the East Coast Hockey League and the Cape Breton Oilers in the AHL.

Dennis then moved to Europe , where he worked for one season at the EHC Neuwied from the German first league played before he also for a season, the HC Thurgau from the Swiss National League B signed. In the 1997/98 season, the striker was initially on the ice at the Italian club HC Meran , but was also used in the German ice hockey league with the Kaufbeurer Adler , for which he played nine games. Dennis then joined SC Riessersee from the 2nd Bundesliga for four years before ending his career in the upper league at ERC Selb in 2002/03 .
