Dubai Darts Masters

The Dubai Darts Masters was a darts tournament organized by the PDC as part of the World Series of Darts . The competition was held for the first time in 2013 and was held for the last time in 2017 . The venue was the Dubai Tennis Center . The event was sponsored by Dubai Duty Free .

Record winner Michael van Gerwen , who won the first three events, was defeated in 2017 by Gary Anderson in the final with 11: 7 legs for the second time in a row.

format

The tournament was attended by a total of 8 players who also qualified for all other World Series events this calendar year. These were the 6 best placed players in the PDC Order of Merit and 2 wildcard players.

The tournament was played in a knockout system . In the first round the game mode was best of 19 legs . The semi-finals and the final were played in the best of 21 legs mode.

The tournament totaled $ 245,000 in prize money. The prize money is distributed among the participants as follows:
