The Dubai Darts Masters was a tournament in darts and was held for the third time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from May 28th to 29th, 2015 . It was the first event of the 2015 World Series of Darts . The venue for the third time was the Dubai Tennis Stadium in Dubai .
The defending champion was Michael van Gerwen , who won the tournament again for the third time.
format
A total of 8 players took part in the tournament. The field of participants consisted of the 6 best placed players of the PDC Order of Merit and 2 wildcard players. The qualifications of the Order of Merit formed the seeding list.
The tournament was played in a knockout system . The first round took place on May 28th. Game mode was a best of 19 legs . The semi-finals and finals, which took place on the evening of May 29th, were played in the best of 21 legs mode.
Prize money
The tournament totaled $ 245,000 in prize money. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:
