World Series of Darts 2015

The World Series of Darts is a series of invitation tournaments organized by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). She takes the world's best darts players to Southeast Asia , Australia and New Zealand .

format

A minimum of eight and a maximum of 16 players take part in the tournament series. The field of participants consists of the six best placed players of the PDC Order of Merit , two wildcard players and up to eight local qualifiers.

The tournaments are all played in the knockout system . Game mode in all tournaments is a best of legs . The distance of the best of legs is different in the tournaments.

In addition to the eight seeded players, 16 players qualified in a separate qualifying tournament after the six events for the 2015 World Series of Darts Finals . Such a final round was held for the first time this year.

Venues

The third World Series of Darts was held in the United Arab Emirates , Australia , New Zealand , Japan and Scotland .

Prize money

The 2015 Dubai Darts Masters totaled $ 245,000 in prize money. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:

Since it was an invitation tournament, the prizes won were not taken into account when calculating the PDC Order of Merit.
