from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The World Series of Darts 2017 is a series of invitation tournaments by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). This year there were eight tournaments, including the World Series of Darts Finals . This time the players took this trip to the USA , Asia , New Zealand , Australia and Germany .

In previous years the top 6 of the PDC Order of Merit (according to the status after the world championship) received a start authorization. In addition, two fixed wildcards were given. This year the PDC changed this mode of participation. The top 6 continued to qualify directly, but this did not necessarily have to correspond to the status after the World Cup. The wildcards were also no longer fixed. Different players received wildcards for the various events.
