World Series of Darts 2019
The World Series of Darts 2019 is a series of invitation tournaments by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). This year there will be five tournaments, including the World Series of Darts Finals . This time the players will travel to the USA , Germany , Australia , New Zealand and the Netherlands .
Attendees
The top 4 of the PDC Order of Merit (with status after the world championship) are automatically set for each tournament. In addition, the PDC distributes wild cards to four other players for each event. These eight players per tournament are considered seeded players in the tournament tree. There are also eight regional qualifiers who compete as unseeded players.

16 players take part in each tournament. The top players of the PDC are always seeded. The remainder of the field is filled by local participants who start as unseeded players. For each round reached, the participants receive points that flow into a separate ranking list. This in turn determines the participants in the World Series of Darts Finals.
The tournaments are all played in the knockout system . Game mode in all tournaments is a best of legs . The distance of the best of legs increases in the course of the tournament and is different for the tournaments.
Venues
The seventh World Series of Darts was held in the United States , Germany , Australia , New Zealand , and the Netherlands .
Prize money
A total of £ 60,000 in prize money will be awarded to each tournament. The prize money is distributed among the participants as follows:

Since these are invitation tournaments, the prize money won will not be taken into account when calculating the PDC Order of Merit.

transmission
In the German-speaking countries, the events are not broadcast on TV except for the event in Germany. But it can be seen on the DAZN streaming service .
Internationally, all games are broadcast by the PDC on livepdc.tv.
