Dungeon (bdsm)
Dungeon (in German usage mostly the dungeon ; from English for “dungeon”, “dungeon”) is the name given to any room in the BDSM area that is specially prepared for corresponding activities.

The architectural appearance of corresponding rooms shows a considerable range. The premises are often equipped with stretchers, cages, chains , St. Andrew's crosses , pulleys or trestles and have steel fastening rings on the ceilings, walls or floors.
There are usually extensive collections of sex toys in the premises . The focus of the equipment is on sadomasochistic accessories such as whips , whips , ropes , handcuffs , clamps and dildos .

For several years, increasingly professionally equipped dungeons have also been rented out temporarily to interested couples or groups, who thus have the opportunity to use extensive equipment and toys without having to purchase them themselves.
At events in the USA, so-called dungeon monitors are often used to ensure the safety and consensuality of the activities on behalf of the organizers.
