Eğrikavak (Turkish for "crooked poplar") is a village ( Köy ) in the district of Ovacık in the Turkish province of Tunceli . In 2011 there were 5 people in Eğrikavak.
The original place name was Kalikuşağı. This was derived from the Kurdish word "Kalik" (grandfather). The village was sacked by security forces in October 1994 and abandoned by the residents. The village was later repopulated.
