EE Bell

Edward Earle Bell (born December 27, 1955 ) is an American film and television actor .

Bell became best known in Germany for his portrayal of Bob Rooney in the hit sitcom A Terribly Nice Family , in which he plays a friend of Al Bundy and is treasurer of the NO MA'AM association . He also played the recurring role of security guard Barney in the sketch series The Amanda Show for the US television station Nickelodeon . Bell claims to be able to imitate numerous dialects and sings tenor in the voice register . Since May 1998 he has been a singer in the Irish-American folk band The Whooligans in Long Beach and also plays guitar and banjo.
