The EWA IIId series was a tank locomotive series of the Vienna-Aspang Railway (EWA) with the numbers 11 and 12 , which actually belonged to the Schneeberg Railway .

The two numbers were, however, a second occupation that had previously been occupied by rental locomotives. The two rental locomotives were built by MWG in 1846 for the Vienna – Gloggnitz Railway . There they were given the names "SCHWECHAT" and "WIESELBURG", were with the kk Südliche Staatsbahn from 1853 , from 1859 with the Südbahn with the numbers 250 and 251, were renumbered in 1861 to 247 and 248 and were nominally retired in 1869/1870. In 1879 they were acquired by Société Belge , rented to EWA for railway construction and sold to them in 1883. They were given the numbers 11 and 12 , but were retired in 1886.

For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that two more locomotives, also built by MWG in 1848, the original "PRÄVALI" and "FERLACH" of the Southern State Railways, from 1859 Südbahn , 1860/1861 leased to GKB , bought by the latter in 1864 and were renamed "LIEBOCH" (1864) and "KAINACH" (1868). They came into the ownership of Société Belge in 1879 and were rented by the latter to EWA until 1883. There they were listed as rental locomotives under numbers 13 and 14 .

The two machines of the EWA IIId series had the names "PUCHBERG" and "SCHNEEBERG" and the numbers 11 and 12 at the Schneebergbahn . Your data can be found in the table. Both were built by the locomotive factory in Wiener Neustadt in 1896 , parked in 1922 and finally retired in 1936.
