Eberhard Jodocus Weller

Eberhard Jodocus Heinrich Weller (born July 17, 1776 in Rödelheim ; † September 1, 1856 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian judge and conservative politician and member of the Second Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Eberhard Jodocus Weller was the son of the Solms office director in Rödelheim Christian Sebastian Wilhelm Weller and his wife Eleonora Margarethe, née König von Königsthal. Weller, who was Protestant, married Anna Maria in his first marriage and Anna Johannette Elisabeth Sibylle nee Geyger in his second marriage.

Weller studied law at the University of Giessen from 1794 . He later became director of the entire Hungen judicial office , in 1821 a senior appellate judge at the Darmstadt Court of Appeal and in 1834 president of the Darmstadt Court of Justice . In 1855 he was retired.

From 1826 to 1830 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 11 / Hungen .
