Wilhelm Fennel

Wilhelm Fenchel (born August 1, 1873 in Ober-Hörgern ; † March 6, 1938 in Nieder-Weisel ) was a Hessian politician ( HBB , DVP ) and a former member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic and the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Wilhelm Fenchel was the son of the farmer Johannes Fenchel and his wife Katharina, née Reuhl. He was married to Mathilde nee Wetz. He worked as a self-employed farmer in Ober-Hörgern, where he was also a member of the local council.

Wilhelm Fenchel was elected as successor to Philipp Koehler in 1911 for the Hessian Farmers' Union in the state parliament of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . He represented the constituency of Oberhessen 4 / Lich there . He was also a member of the Chamber of Agriculture committee for the province of Upper Hesse . After the November Revolution, Wilhelm Fenchel was elected to the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse . He now represented the German People's Party. He was represented in the state parliament for 5 terms from 1919 to 1932.
