The Ebner Joch is a 1957 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Rofan in Tyrol .
The summit can be reached as an easy hike for sure-footed mountain hikers from Maurach via the Astenau-Alpe. There are two steep steps to overcome on the way to the summit (ascent time: approx. 2:30 hours, descent time: approx. 1:45 hours, approx. 1000 meters in altitude).
The old summit cross was rotten in 2016 and was replaced by two Jenbacher families with a new wooden cross. The height of the cross is almost three meters and is mainly characterized by its elegant and simple design. After improving the weather resistance, oiling was carried out six times. The dissolution of the vertical bar, which is divided into two narrow wooden strips, reduces the conspicuity against storms. The Ebner Joch was entered in the summit book on May 22, 2016.
