The Eboard Museum shows around 1,800 exhibits on an area of 1,700 m².

The focus is on electronic keyboard instruments , which cover the entire development history of electronic keyboards, starting with the Hammond Model A from 1935, through to current synthesizers such as the Moog Voyager.

The exhibits include numerous prototypes and unique items ( Hohner Clavinet, Rhodes Piano, Mellotron and others), but also original instruments by world stars such as Keith Emerson ( Emerson, Lake & Palmer ), Geoff Downes ( Asia ), Peter Wolf ( Frank Zappa ), Tangerine Dream , Ken Hensley ( Uriah Heep ), Dave Greenslade ( Colosseum ), Eddie Hardin ( Spencer Davis Group ).

It is unusual for an instrument museum that the exhibited instruments are not only presented live in guided tours, but can also be played by visitors themselves. Professional musicians and music lovers from all over the world gladly take advantage of this opportunity.

The museum's library contains literature on electronic music with a focus on keyboards, as well as pop music and pop culture.

The Eboardmuseum has set itself the goal of offering non-musicians and children an entertaining, family-friendly excursion into the world of music.

Events

The Eboardmuseum organizes around 50 live concerts every year. The event area integrated in the museum is furnished with sofas and offers a living room atmosphere.

Despite the small capacity of the event area, top musicians who feel attracted by the unusual "location", such as B.
