Eckart Müllner

Eckart Müllner (born January 9, 1941 in Obing ; † November 25, 2018 in Munich ) was a German neurologist .

After taking the Abitur in Freising and the medical state examination at the University of Munich , Müllner received a scholarship at the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry in Munich in 1969 . In 1970 he started as a research assistant and from 1973 to 1975 he was the medical director of a research laboratory at the University of Konstanz . In 1976 he returned to the Max Planck Institute; later he was employed at the University Psychiatric Clinic in Munich and the Neurological Clinic in Regensburg . In 1983 he started in Straubing as a resident specialist for neurology , psychiatry , psychotherapeutic medicine , radiological diagnostics, neuroradiology , chiropractic and pain clinic. In 1995 he also became a lecturer at the German Society for Medical Hypnosis and Autogenic Training .

From 1991 on, Müllner was a member of the planning and coordination committee of the government of Lower Bavaria , and also chairman of the Hartmannbund in the district of Lower Bavaria. In 1999 he was appointed a member of the Bavarian Senate (group: liberal professions), which was dissolved at the end of the same year.
