Gérard Simond

Gérard Simond (born May 11, 1904 in Chamonix , † January 9, 1955 ) was a French ice hockey player .

Career

Gérard Simond was a French international . He took part with France in the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz and scored two goals in three games. He also participated in the World Championships in 1930 , 1931 and 1934 and at the European Championship in 1932 in part

At club level he played from 1924 to 1939 for the Chamonix Hockey Club , with which he was French champion seven times . In the 1929/30 season he was one of the scorers in the 2-0 final victory against the Club des Sports d'Hiver de Paris .

In the 1926/27 season he played for the best German club Berlin ice skating club , z. B. at the game against the Tegeler EV - but since the use of foreigners was forbidden, the game was counted as lost for the ice skating club.
