Eddie Griffin (born July 15, 1968 in Kansas City , Missouri ) is an American actor and stand-up comedian.

Life and accomplishments

Griffin made his debut in the 1991 action film Last Boy Scout . From 1996 to 2000, he appeared in the television series Malcolm & Eddie as Eddie, for which he was nominated in 2000 for the Image Award .

In the comedy Foolish (1999) Griffin took over the lead role of a Foolish called Miles orphan . In the action comedy The Double Number (2001) he played the role of FBI agent Freddy Tiffany , who protects the finance manager Daryl Chase ( Orlando Jones ). He starred again in the action comedy Undercover Brother (2002).

Griffin also achieved great success with his show Voodoo Child and was voted one of the top 100 US comedians by Comedy Central in 2004 .

Griffin was married as a teenager, aged 16, from 1983 to 1984; in 2002 he married again. He has a son born in 1986.

Notoriety was also an accident caused by Griffin, in which he crashed into a boundary wall with a US $ 1.5 million Enzo Ferrari while promoting the 2007 film Redline at Irwindale Speedway .
