Edeltraud Schubert (born April 23, 1917 ) worked as a German actress .

life and career

Edeltraud Schubert did not work as an actress in German film and television until retirement age, but still had a busy career as a supporting actress from 1989 to 2009. Several times she was seen in the role of grandmother or an indignant elderly lady. She played supporting roles in a total of seven Tatort films and three episodes of Der Bulle von Tölz . Schubert was also seen several times in smaller roles in the cinema, for example as a donation-collecting woman in the comedy (T) Raumschiff Surprise - Period 1 (2004) and as a great-grandma in the black comedy Who dies earlier is longer dead (2006). She was last seen in 2009 at the age of 90 in the episode film Deutschland 09 and the Tatort episode Gesang der toten Dinge .

Edeltraud Schubert may have died on July 12, 2013 at the age of 96 in western Finland, but this has not yet been clearly confirmed.
