Edgar M. Marcus

Edgar M. Marcus (born September 18, 1945 ) is a German actor .

Life

Edgar M. Marcus attended boarding school at Salem Castle and then trained as a photographer in Cologne . From 1966 to 1970 he completed the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and had permanent engagements at the Landestheater Coburg as well as the theaters in Augsburg , Lübeck and Baden-Baden . Marcus also made guest appearances at the Salzburg Festival , the Gandersheim Cathedral Festival and the Feuchtwangen Cloister Games and was on tour with Stage 64.

At the Baden-Baden Theater, Marcus played in Das Fest after the successful film of the same name by Danish director Thomas Vinterberg , in the musical version of the Billy Wilder film Some Like It Hot and in The Cat on the Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams .

Marcus is known to numerous television viewers as Franz Faller , the "JR Ewing of the Black Forest" in the series Die Fallers , which he has played since episode 2 in 1994. He also played guest roles in series such as Ein Fall für Zwei , Die Wache and SOKO Stuttgart .
