Edilson Soares Nobre
Edilson Soares Nobre (born May 9, 1965 in Touros , Rio Grande do Norte , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Oeiras .
Life
Edilson Soares Nobre received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Natal on April 6, 1991 .
On January 11, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Oeiras. The Archbishop of Natal, Jaime Vieira Rocha , donated him episcopal ordination on March 20 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the retired Archbishops of Natal, Heitor de Araújo Sales and Matias Patrício de Macêdo . The inauguration in the Diocese of Oeiras took place on April 1, 2017.
