Edit Kern (born February 28, 1967 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian football player .
Career

Kern, who had previously played for Renova Budapest in her home country until 1988 , was a midfielder of TSV Siegen , with whom she once reached the final of the German championship and twice the final of the DFB Cup . On June 24, 1990, she and her team won the championship 3-0 against SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach in the Siegener Leimbach Stadium . Exactly one year earlier she won the club cup in the Berlin Olympic Stadium - as a prelude to the men's final - with 5-1 against FSV Frankfurt and made a significant contribution with her goals to 3-0 in the 36th and 4-0 in the 44th minute . On June 22, 1991, she lost the final against the Grün-Weiß Brauweiler team at the same location with Michaela Kubat's only goal to make it 0-1 in the 19th minute.
National team
For the senior national team , she played 36 international matches in which she scored 25 goals.
