The Edition When book is published, an independent German publishing house that only waterproof bath books for the bathtub for adult readers. The publishing house is in Chemnitz .

history

The publishing house was founded in 2010 by journalists Grit Strietzel and Jens Korch. The idea for waterproof bath tub books for adults came about during a vacation in Tuscany by the pool. Up to two new books are published every year.

The publishing house publishes thrillers , novels , travel guides as well as yoga and fitness guides or brain jogging for the tub. The content is deliberately kept short so that it can be read in 15 minutes and is therefore sufficient for a bath. At the beginning of 2016, the publishing repertoire comprised around 20 different titles. In 2019, Edition Wannenbuch has 30 waterproof books in its range. The spectrum has been expanded to include thrillers, among other things. A double bath book for couples was presented for the first time at the Leipzig Book Fair 2019. The plot of the two-book novel "Forever and ... Adam" (his part) and "Forever and ... Evi" (she) jumps from one title to the other and back again.

Authors

The authors of the tub books are the emeritus Gießen literary scholar Erwin Leibfried , the sports scientists Regina Roschmann and Jacqueline Böhr from the Technical University of Chemnitz , the radio presenter Dirk Schumacher , the caricaturist and cartoonist Rainer Bach , the Hessian comedy duo Badesalz , the singer and radio presenter Lisa Wohlgemuth and the writer and Publisher Claudia Puhlfürst .

Prices

The Wannenbuch edition was awarded the first non- book audience award at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2016 for the bath book Buddhas baden better .
