Eduard Clavel

Eduard Clavel (born April 18, 1810 in Laiz ; † February 12, 1873 in Hemigkofen ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Eduard Clavel was the son of the Obervogts in Trochtelfingen . He first studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . In 1828 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Tübingen . In 1830 he continued his studies at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . From 1832 to 1834 he was a legal candidate, including at the court court in Sigmaringen and the Obervogteiamt Jungnau . After passing the service examination, he was actuary in Ostrach and Haigerloch from 1834 to 1836 , actuary in Jungnau and Sigmaringen from 1836 to 1839, and chief actuary in Haigerloch from 1839 to 1845.

1845 Clavel became the Oberamtsverweser and 1846 for high bailiff of Oberamts Haigerloch appointed. On October 22, 1849, he submitted a vacation request. Since he had called on the mayors of his upper office to fight for freedom, he was suspended from his office in 1850 and disciplinary proceedings were initiated against him. In May 1850 his transfer to the Oberamt Glatt was planned, which did not happen again. He moved away from Haigerloch. In 1852 he stayed in Trochtelfingen and was retired. Most recently he was a landowner in Berg on Lake Constance .
