Eduard Jäger (politician)
Eduard Jäger (born September 18, 1894 in Ellenhausen ; † February 3, 1970 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .
education and profession
Eduard Jäger attended elementary school and rural training school before doing military service from 1915 to 1918 . From 1922 to 1924 he worked for the Association for Catholic Germany, and from 1925 to 1930 as the district manager of the Mittelrheinisch-Nassau farmers' association. During the time of National Socialism he worked as a sales and insurance agent and was conscripted from 1942 to 1945.
In 1945 he became head of the Food Office and the Chamber of Agriculture in Limburg .
politics
From 1930 to 1933 Eduard Jäger was State Secretary of the Nassau Center Party .
After the war, Jäger joined the CDU as a founding member on November 10, 1945 and was district chairman of the Union in the Limburg district from 1946 to 1948 . At the same time he was a member of the district council.
On 19 June 1948, the district council hunter with 28 elected by 32 votes to district of Limburg. He took office on July 1, 1948 and was to hold this office until July 1, 1964.
From July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946, Jäger was a member of the Constitutional Assembly, and from December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1962, a member of the Hessian state parliament.
