Eduard Rochlitz

Eduard Rochlitz (born August 2, 1829 in Schwetz , West Prussia ; † November 14, 1904 in Dresden ; full name: Wilhelm August Eduard Rochlitz ) was a German engineer , Prussian construction clerk and university professor .

Life

Rochlitz was appointed government builder ( assessor in public construction) in 1859 . In 1867 he was acting telegraph construction inspector in Hanover and in 1868 telegraph directorate. From 1869 he was a lecturer in electrical telegraphy at the Polytechnic School in Hanover . In 1876 he was promoted to the post office.

In 1876 Rochlitz was transferred to Königsberg , in 1884 to Kiel and in 1888 to Münster . In 1893 he was appointed Oberpostrat and retired on July 1 of the same year.

His brother was the Prussian district administrator and deputy Otto Rochlitz . From her marriage to Clara Mathilde, born in 1859, Nitykowski, had three daughters and two sons.
