Edward Peter McManaman (born May 3, 1900 in Wilkes-Barre , Pennsylvania , USA ; † July 18, 1964 ) was auxiliary bishop in Erie .

Life

Edward Peter McManaman received on 12 March 1927, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 24, 1948, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Floriana and auxiliary bishop in Erie. The Bishop of Erie, John Mark Gannon , gave him on 28 October of the same year, the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Scranton , William Joseph Hafey , and the Bishop of Rapid City , William Tibertus McCarty CSsR .

McManaman attended the first and second sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
