Edward Vincent Dargin (born April 25, 1898 in New York City , USA , † April 20, 1981 ) was auxiliary bishop in New York .

Life

Edward Vincent Dargin received on 23 September 1922, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 25, 1953, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Amphipolis and auxiliary bishop in New York. The Archbishop of Los Angeles , James Francis Cardinal McIntyre , donated him episcopal ordination on October 5 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in New York, Joseph Francis Flannelly and the bishop of Albany , William Aloysius Scully .

On August 11, 1973, Pope Paul VI. the resignation put forward by Edward Vincent Dargin for reasons of age.
