Joseph Patrick Donahue (born November 6, 1870 in New York City , United States , † April 26, 1959 ) was auxiliary bishop in New York .

Life

Joseph Patrick Donahue received on 8 June 1895, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 27, 1945 Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Emmaüs and auxiliary bishop in New York. The Archbishop of New York, Francis Spellman , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishop in New York, James Francis McIntyre , and the Bishop of Buffalo , John Francis O'Hara CSC .
