Titular diocese of Emmaüs
Emmaüs ( Italian : Emmaus ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an earlier bishop's seat in the ancient city of Emmaus Nikopolis near Jerusalem in the Roman province of Syria Palestine or Palestine Prima , which belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Caesarea in Palestine .
