Life

Hüller trained as a sculptor between 1933 and 1939 and became a student at the art school in Teplitz-Schönau . After the Second World War he came to Frankfurt-Schwanheim in 1946 and began as a student of the local sculptor Johann Belz (1873–1957) with renovation work on damaged works of art. Lucae fountain, created by Hüller

Hüller's biggest commission was the creation of the fountain on Opernplatz Frankfurt based on designs by the architect Lucae . This fountain was inaugurated in 1983 and has shaped this inner-city square ever since. The "Reichsdorf-Bornheim-Brunnen" (1983) made of red sandstone was also designed by Hüller according to his designs. With inscriptions it reminds of Bornheim's independence. Hüller also designed and manufactured the bust for the Friedrich Stoltze Prize and renovated other church objects in addition to the Brickegickel .

Hüller worked with plastics and ceramics as well as with the traditional materials stone, metal (bronze) and wood. He was a member of the Frankfurter Künstlergesellschaft e. V. 1857 and its chairman from 1983 to 1998.
