Efe Jerry Obode (born February 14, 1989 ) is a Nigerian soccer player .

Career

Efe Jerry Obode played for Tishreen SC from 2009 to 2010 . The club from the Syrian port city of Latakia played in the first division, the Syrian Premier League . Where he played before is unknown. In mid-2010 he left Syria and went to Thailand . Here he signed a contract with Samut Songkhram FC . The club, which played in the first division, the Thai Premier League , is based in Samut Songkhram . Here he was on the field until mid-2011. The Iraqi club Erbil SC took him under contract from 2011. With the club from Erbil he played in the first division, the Iraqi Premier League . The 2011/2012 season he was with the club Iraqi football champions. He was also in the 2012 AFC Cup final with Erbil , but lost 4-0 to al Kuwait SC . In 2013 he moved back to Thailand. The first division club Pattaya United from the seaside resort Pattaya took him under contract. At the end of the season he rose with the club as 17th in the table in the second division . In mid-2014 he moved to Trat for league rivals Trat FC . Here he played until mid-2015. In July he moved to the back series in the third division, the Regional League Division 2 , where he joined Udon Thani FC from Udon Thani . After six months he left Udon Thani and moved to league rivals Phrae United FC in Phrae . In mid-2017 he moved to Bangkok . Here he signed a contract with MOF Customs United FC , a club that played in the newly founded third division, the Thai League 3 . By mid-2018 he played eleven times in the upper region of the third division. In June, WU Nakhon Si United from Nakhon Si Thammarat , also playing in the third division, signed him. After six months, he went to Phuket in early 2019 , where he signed a contract with Phuket City FC . For Phuket, he completed six third division games and scored five goals. In early 2020 he was signed by league rivals Krabi FC .
