Eftychia Pappa-Papavasilopoulou ( Greek Ευτυχία Πάππα-Παπαβασιλοπούλου , born October 3, 1981 in New York , United States ) is a former Greek water diver who competed in 10 m tower and synchronized diving. She took part in a total of three Olympic Games .

Pappa-Papavasilopoulou started first for the association NO Kalamakiou , later for DAS Drapetsonas Piraeus . She was trained by Youri Artamonov. She took part in the European Championship for the first time in Helsinki in 2000 and reached the semi-finals from the 10-meter tower. In the same year she played her first Olympic Games in Sydney , but retired from the tower as 29th after the preliminary fight. At her first World Cup in 2003 in Barcelona , she started in the individual and with Eleni Chatzimitrou in the synchronous competition, but could not survive the preliminary fight. The following year, Pappa-Papavasilopoulou took part in the Olympic Games in Athens in their home country. From the tower she was able to reach the semi-finals in the singles, where she finished 17th. In synchronized jumping, she and Florentia Sfakianou took eighth place in the final.

In the following years, Pappa-Papavasilopoulou also started jumping from the 3-meter board. The 2006 European Championship in Budapest was successful , where it reached the finals from the 3-meter board and 10-meter tower and was eighth. At the 2007 World Cup in Melbourne , she moved from the tower to a World Cup semi-finals for the first time. The 2008 European Championships in Eindhoven brought Pappa-Papavasilopoulou two finals again, she was eleventh in the tower and seventh in the 3-meter synchronized jumping with Chatzimitrou. In Beijing she finally played her third Olympic Games , but retired from the tower as 26th after the preliminary fight. After the games, she ended her active career.

Pappa-Papavasilopoulou, who studied at the University of Athens , stayed on diving even after her career ended. She works as a judge for the LEN .
