Egidio Perfetti
Egidio Perfetti (born June 5, 1975 in Sorengo ) is a Norwegian entrepreneur and racing driver who also competes with a Swiss license.
Entrepreneur
He is also chairman of the family business Perfetti Van Melle , an Italian confectionery and chewing gum manufacturer. Perfetti is the son of an Italian father and a Norwegian mother. After living in Asia for a long time , he currently lives in Amsterdam , which is also the headquarters of the family business. Although he was born in Switzerland , he is a Norwegian citizen.
Motorsport career
Perfetti started his career in 2010 when he competed in the Swiss edition of the Porsche Sports Cup. From 2012 to 2015 he drove in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. He also competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup France and Porsche Supercup in 2015. The following year he drove in the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup and again in the Porsche Supercup. He continued this commitment the next year, and he was also featured in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and the Porsche Carrera Cup France.
In the 2018/19 FIA World Endurance Championship , he drove a Porsche 911 RSR in the GTE LM class. In 2018 he also competed in the Porsche GT3 Challenge USA and the Porsche Supercup.
