The former school of Groß-Bieberau is a typical school building from around 1900. The two-storey, massive structure with classicist style features is one of the small-town school types of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . Apart from the change in the entrance, the school building is still well preserved. The school building has a plastered facade and a gable roof . The building is a cultural monument for reasons of building typology and local history .
Monument protection
The former school of Groß-Bieberau was placed under monument protection as a typical example of the architecture of the turn of the century in southern Hesse and in the Odenwald .
