Eintracht Oberlübbe (officially: Turn- und Sportverein Eintracht Oberlübbe eV ) is a sports club from the Hiller district of Oberlübbe in the Minden-Lübbecke district . The club offers handball and health sports. The first women's handball team once took part in the women's DHB Cup .

history

The club was founded as a gymnastics club in late summer 1925. The handball department was founded five years later. On October 19, 1945, the company was re-established as Blau-Weiß Oberlübbe , which later took on its current name. The home arena is the Oberlübbe sports hall.

The women's team of Eintracht became champions of the Oberliga Westfalen in 2003 and rose to the third-class Regionalliga Nord , where the team immediately came in third in the 2003/04 promotion season . A year later , Eintracht finished fourth. However, the team was withdrawn to the Oberliga Westfalen for financial reasons. In the 2006/07 season the Oberlübber women qualified for the DHB Cup. After a 30:25 win at TV Bruckhausen in the first round, they were eliminated in round two after a narrow 23:24 defeat against TSG Ober-Eschbach . In 2008 he was promoted back to the regional league, which was followed by direct relegation. In 2011 he was relegated to the association league with a total of 2:46 points.

In 2004, the men's team made it to the Oberliga Westfalen. Two years later, Eintracht was runner-up there behind LiT Nordhemmern / Mindenerwald . After relegation in 2010, the team was passed through to the regional league a year later. Since it was promoted again in 2013, Eintracht has been back in the association league.
