Eitel-Friedrich Rechel

Eitel-Friedrich Rechel (born November 11, 1916 in Stettin , † after 1963) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1954 to 1958 he was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

Rechel, son of a tailor , attended elementary school and also learned the trade of tailor. After 1933 he was drafted into the RAD and the Wehrmacht . During the Second World War he had to do military service.

After the war he joined the CDU in 1945. From 1945 to 1952 he was a member of the CDU district executive in Halberstadt . Rechel worked from 1945 to 1950 as a commercial clerk in the food retail sector, then as an accountant at HO in Halberstadt . In 1952 he became deputy chairman of the council of the Salzwedel district . He still held this position in 1961.

From 1952 to 1954 he acted as chairman of the CDU district executive in Salzwedel. At the same time he was a member of the district leadership of the Kulturbund , the district committee of the National Front and the Salzwedel district council. In 1953 he was appointed a member of the Magdeburg district assembly . From 1954 to 1958 he was a member of the CDU parliamentary group, a member of the People's Chamber and a member of the judiciary committee.

Rechel lived on Jenny-Marx-Strasse in Salzwedel .
