Ekkachai Sumrei ( Thai เอกชัย สำ เร , born November 28, 1988 in Satun ) is a Thai football player .

Career

Ekkachai Sumrei learned to play football with third division team Satun United FC in Satun , where he also signed his first professional contract in 2005. By 2008 he played 62 times for the club. In 2008 he moved to Bangkok to the local first division club Port FC . In 2011 he moved to the second division and joined Buriram FC . With the club he became champions and rose to the first division, the Thai Premier League . In the same year he moved to Buriram United . He was on the field 30 times for Buriram United. Bangkok United , a first division club from Bangkok, signed him in 2014. For Bangkok United he played 143 first division games and scored twelve goals. In 2020 he left the club and joined the first division promoted Police Tero FC , which is also based in Bangkok.

National team

In 2015 Ekkachai Sumrei played five times for the Thai national team . He made his debut on March 30, 2015 in a friendly against Cameroon .
