In 2003 they switched to the record label Nuclear Blast . In 2004 Ektomorf toured with Pro-Pain and Fear Factory .
From mid-October to early November 2005 they played on their first headlining tour, The Monster Mosh Down Tour 2005, together with Disbelief , Betzefer and By Night in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, England, Belgium and the Netherlands. This was followed by a tour with One Man Army and the Undead Quartet as support for Children of Bodom .

On March 20, 2009 the album What Doesn't Kill Me… was released via AFM Records . The album entered the German charts at number 94 on April 6th.
This was followed by the album Redemption on December 17, 2010 , which was toured with in February 2011.
The Acoustic , the band's first all-acoustic album , was released on February 17, 2012 . Some of the previous albums already contained acoustic songs, e.g. B. Sea of My Misery from the album Redemption .
Half a year later, the album Black Flag was released on August 30, 2012 , with which the band went on tour from October 2012.
On January 31, 2014, the band's eighth studio album entitled Retribution was released.
On November 21, 2017, lead singer Zoltan Farkaś split up with Tomi Schrottner, Szabolks Murvai and Robert Jaksa due to personal differences. The trio was replaced by Szebasztián Simon, Attila Asztalos and Dániel Szabó.
The album Fury was released in February 2018 and a European tour has been announced for March.
style
Ektomorf's texts are written by Zoltán Farkas and often have a political and / or historical (e.g. Holocaust ) background. Many songs such as B. Gypsy , I know them , Outcast or Set me free deal with the issue of discrimination , as some members of Ektomorf as members of the Roma (Zoltán Farkas, formerly also Csaba Farkas) had to fight prejudices and racially motivated attacks in their homeland and to have.
