Elena Danilova ( Russian Елена Данилова ; born February 7, 1991 ) is a Russian duathlete and triathlete . She is a member of the Russian national team .

Career

In 2010 Elena Danilova won the Junior European Championship on the Duathlon sprint distance in France at the age of 19.

In August 2013 Elena Danilova became Russian state champion in the short distance triathlon and she was able to secure this title again in 2017 and 2018.

In 2014 she became the U23 European triathlon champion. In September 2015, she became Vice World Champion Aquathlon in Chicago. In the 2016 ITU World Championship series , she finished 64th.

At the military world championships in Lidköping (Sweden) Elena Danilova won the women's individual ranking in 2018 and achieved the silver medal with her team. In October 2019 she finished second in the CISM Military World Triathlon Championship .

In the 2020 season, Danilova will also start for the German EJOT Team TV Buschhütten .
