Eleonore Juliane of Brandenburg-Ansbach
Eleonore Juliane von Brandenburg-Ansbach (* October 23, 1663 in Ansbach ; † March 4, 1724 in Ansbach) was a princess of Brandenburg-Ansbach and was by marriage from October 31, 1682 to December 20, 1697 Duchess of Württemberg-Winnental .
Life
Eleonore Juliane was a daughter of Margrave Albrecht von Brandenburg-Ansbach (1620–1667) from his second marriage to Sophie Margarete (1634–1664), daughter of Count Joachim Ernst zu Oettingen-Oettingen.
She married Duke Friedrich Karl von Württemberg-Winnental (1652–1698) on October 31, 1682 in Ansbach . On the occasion of the wedding, Friedrich Karl had a commemorative coin minted. At the wedding, Eleanor Julian's brother Johann Friedrich met the composer Johann Sigismund Kusser , who later worked in Ansbach.
After she became a widow, Eleonore Juliane moved back to her native Ansbach in 1710 to support her youngest daughter. The Duchess had personal contact with the theologian August Hermann Francke and wrote sacred songs. Philipp Friedrich von Geismar (1646–1701) acted as her councilor and court master .
Eleonore Juliane was buried in the Stuttgart collegiate church .
