Elfriede Dallmann
Elfriede Dallmann (born Hollensteiner ; born March 16, 1917 in Pirmasens , † February 9, 2005 in Berlin ) was a German politician of the GDR block party NDPD . From 1950 to 1963 she was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR and from 1951 to 1952 mayor of the East Berlin district of Treptow .
Life
Elfriede Dallmann, daughter of a businessman, attended high school. From 1936 to 1938 she completed an agricultural apprenticeship at the agricultural school in Lindlar .
In 1949 she became a member of the National Democratic Party of Germany (NDPD) and hired as a clerk at the German Economic Commission . From 1950 to 1951 she worked as a section head in the State Secretariat (with her own division) for the collection and purchase of agricultural products and attended the state administration school in Königs Wusterhausen .
In October 1950 she came to the People's Chamber as a Berlin representative and member of the NDPD parliamentary group. At times she was a member of the Budget and Finance Committee in the second electoral term from 1954 to 1958 and of the electoral review committee in the third electoral term from 1958 to 1963.
From November 29, 1951 to 1952, she was mayor of the Berlin borough of Treptow. At the same time she was chairman of the NDPD district association and a member of the district council assembly Berlin-Treptow. From February 17, 1953 to 1954, she was deputy chairwoman of the council of the Berlin-Köpenick district and from 1956 honorary district councilor for culture in Berlin-Treptow.
She was married to Siegfried Dallmann and the mother of three children.
