Note : A manual or directory in book form for the members of the 1st electoral term of the People's Chamber is not yet available. On the basis of the evaluated sources, however, a high percentage of completeness has now been achieved. However, MPs may still be missing. In particular, the Notes section of the table should be viewed critically as a source. Only the entered death dates can be regarded as secured. Most of the information on leaving parliament is based on the minutes of the meeting as the source. These represent the official reading. The real reasons for leaving (arrest, expulsion from the party, etc.) are rarely mentioned in the minutes. Discrepancies can also occur over time. Since the People's Chamber had longer breaks in meetings, there was often a certain period of time between the reason and the notification of the loss of a mandate. Only the data for mandate successors can be regarded as secure, whereby it cannot be ruled out that these delegates have already been active in Volkskammer committees outside of the Volkskammer meetings before the official recognition of their mandate.

Remarks

  1. The parliamentary group was made up of representatives from the VdgB and the Association of Consumer Cooperatives.
  2. ^ The SDA was the Social Democratic Action, former East Berlin SPD members.
  3. The list does not claim to be complete.
  4. Even the sources did not always reveal the exact group membership. If in doubt, the possible affiliations are listed.
