Hans Lohrisch

Hans Lohrisch (born December 24, 1912 in Klinkrade near Lauenburg / Elbe ; † January 9, 1971 ) was a German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . He was chairman of the NDPD state board of Brandenburg and the NDPD district board of Potsdam as well as a member of the People's Chamber and the state chamber of the GDR .

Life

Lohrisch attended elementary school and high school . In 1935 he began to study law , sociology and history . In 1939 he passed the state examination in law. In 1940 he was called up for military service in the Air Force . In April 1944 he was taken prisoner by the Soviets with the rank of first lieutenant . He attended an anti-fascist school there .

In November 1947 he returned to Germany, in the Soviet Zone , and in 1948 joined the SED. In 1948/49 he worked as a radio editor for Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk in Leipzig . In June 1949 he joined the NDPD. From June 1949 to 1951 he was director of the School for National Politics of the NDPD in Buckow . From June 1949 he was a member of the executive board of the NDPD, from 1951 to 1958 he was a member of the main committee of the NDPD. From April 1951 to July 1952 Lohrisch acted as Chairman of the Brandenburg State Board of the NDPD, in 1952/53 as Chairman of the Potsdam District Board of the NDPD and Deputy Chairman of the Potsdam District Council .

Lohrisch was a member of the People's Chamber from 1950 to 1951 and from 1951 to 1958 a member of the GDR Land Chamber. From 1951 to 1952 he was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament and then from 1952 to 1954 of the Potsdam District Parliament .

From May 1953 Lohrisch was a civil employee of the administration for general questions and department head in the Ministry of the Interior (MdI) . From 1955 Lohrisch worked as a journalist, among other things as foreign correspondent for the General German Intelligence Service in Romania and Vietnam .

Lohrisch later rejoined the SED.
