Anna Krause (functionary)
Anna Krause (born July 26, 1903 in Schwarzwasser , Moravian-Silesia , † after 1963) was a German farm worker and party functionary ( SED ). From 1950 to 1954 she was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR and from 1954 to 1963 a candidate for the Central Committee of the SED .
Life
Anna Krause was born as the daughter of a working class family in Schwarzwasser in the Freiwaldau district. She attended elementary school and was a farm worker from 1917 to 1932. After the Second World War , she lived in the Soviet occupation zone in the Riesa district and worked as a farm worker in the Volksgut (VEG) Tiefenau . She became a member of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED). From 1950 to 1954 she was a member of the SED parliamentary group of the People's Chamber. As the first “Honored Activist of Saxon Agriculture”, she became economic manager in VEG Tiefenau in 1952. At the fourth party congress of the SED in April 1954 she was elected as a candidate for the SED Central Committee and held this position until the VI. Party congress in January 1963.
From 1954 she worked as the head of the political department of the machine-tractor station (MTS) Wülknitz and from 1956 as a women's instructor at the MTS. From 1963 she worked as a full-time SED party secretary of the agricultural production cooperative (LPG) Wülknitz.
