Eliška Švikruhová

Eliška Švikruhová (born October 6, 1986 ) is a Slovak biathlete .

Eliška Švikruhová competed in 2003 in Kościelisko , 2004 in Haute-Maurienne , 2005 in Kontiolahti , 2006 in Presque Isle and 2007 in Martell at the Junior World Championships. The greatest success was winning the bronze medal with the relay in 2004. In Kontiolahti she was fifth in the individual, eleventh in the sprint and tenth in the pursuit. In 2006 in Langdorf and 2007 in Bansko , she also took part in the European Junior Championships. The best result was eighth place in the singles of Bansko. Between 2003 and 2006, the Slovak started in the Junior European Cup, her best result in 2006 was fourth place in the pursuit of Gurnige .

Švikruhová made her debut in the Biathlon World Cup in 2007 in Oslo on Holmenkollen (87th in the sprint). Her best individual result to date was 54th place in the Oberhof sprint in 2008 . With the relay she was able to finish tenth in Ruhpolding and thus achieved her first top ten result. Her best results in Biathlon European Cup races were two second places in the sprint and pursuit of Bansko behind Pavlina Filipowa in 2007 . In 2008 Švikruhová took part in their first world championship in Östersund . She finished 67th in the individual, 67th in the sprint and ninth in the relay.
