Elie Chedid , also Elia Scedid (born March 19, 1872 in Adeh al-Batrun , Lebanon , † January 18, 1950 ) was a Lebanese clergyman and archbishop of the Maronite Church .

Life

Elie Chedid received on 9 April 1898, the sacrament of Holy Orders . On April 27, 1926 he was appointed Patriarchal Vicar of Batrun in Lebanon and at the same time appointed Titular Archbishop of Cyrrhus per i Maroniti , the papal confirmation took place on June 21 of the same year.
