Elisa Uga (born February 27, 1968 in Vercelli ) is a former Italian sword fencer .

successes

Elisa Uga achieved most of her international success in team competition. In 1998 , she won the individual title at the European Championships in Plovdiv , in 1999 she won silver in Bolzano and bronze in 1993 in Linz . In 1999 she was also European champion with the team. At world championships she won three bronze medals and one silver medal. At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , she finished 14th in the individual competition. In the team competition, she reached the final together with Margherita Zalaffi and Laura Chiesa after victories against Estonia and Hungary , in which France prevailed 45:33.
