Elisabeth Groll (* 1987 ) is a former German natural track tobogganist . The multiple German junior champion took part in six World Cup races from 2002 to 2005 and started at the 2006 European Championship .

Career

Elisabeth Groll started a World Cup race for the first time in Umhausen on January 12, 2002 . However, she could not compete in the second round, which is why she remained without a result on her debut. A week later she won her first World Cup points with 14th place in Hüttau . At the end of February 2002 Junior World Championships in Gsies she had to accept another failure because the horn of the toboggan broke in the first race.

In the next winter Groll did not start in any world cup races, but only took part in the 2003 Junior European Championship in Kreuth , where she achieved a position in the lower midfield with 15th place. Groll drove the next World Cup races in the 2003/2004 season . She started in three of the six races, was able to improve continuously and achieved her best result of the season with 14th place at the finals in Aurach , with which she was 17th in the overall World Cup. At the Junior World Championships in 2004 in Kindberg , she was 13th and again placed in the lower midfield; she did not take part in the 2005 European Junior Championships in Kandalakscha , Russia .

Groll contested her last, and in the 2004/2005 season, only World Cup race on January 8, 2005 in Unterammergau . She finished 14th out of 16 starters. In the next winter, however, Groll was used at the 2006 European Championships in Umhausen, where she achieved 15th place among 21 starters. Her last international race was the Junior World Championship three weeks later in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where she also finished in 15th place.
