Life

She received her training from her mother, the Burgtheater actress Sofie Wilhelmine Marie Koberwein ; her father Josef Koberwein was also engaged at the Burgtheater. From 1822 to 1864 she was a member of the Hofburgtheater. Her role subject can be described as naive-sentimental, but she switched from the lovers to the mother roles. She was married to the actor Karl Fichtner since 1830 and also gave guest performances at the court theater in Munich . She retired in 1865 because of a nervous condition that made her very sensitive to noise.

Her son Adolf Fichtner , also an actor, was married to the singer Auguste Spahr . Her granddaughter Marie Arnsburg (1862–1940) was an Austrian painter.

In the Burgtheater's gallery of honor hangs a portrait painted by her uncle Georg Koberwein .
